Ben White, Executive Director
Ben is the founder and Executive Director of The Britain Palestine Media Centre. He is an author and analyst, who has been visiting, researching, and writing about Palestine for two decades. Ben’s articles have been published in many international outlets, including The Guardian, The Independent, and the Journal of Palestine Studies. He has written four books, including 'Cracks in the Wall: Beyond Apartheid in Palestine/Israel' (Pluto Press, 2018). Ben is a contributor for Al-Shabaka: the Palestinian policy network, and has a PhD in Palestine Studies from the University of Exeter. -
Dalal Jebril-Rogers, Operations Manager
Dalal is Operations Manager at The Britain Palestine Media Centre. She has an extensive experience as a broadcast journalist, producing impactful content with a focus on underrepresented issues and audiences. Her work can be found in various international news outlets such as BBC News, Al Jazeera English, and others. Dalal holds a Master’s degree in Media and Communication from SOAS – University of London, and has been very active in building support communities for Jordanian and Palestinian women across the UK.

Alysia Grapek, Senior Media Engagement Officer
Alysia is The Britain Palestine Media Centre’s Senior Media Engagement Officer. She is a researcher, an intersectional feminist and a human rights advocate. Previously, Alysia has worked on digital rights and social media censorship, as well as on preventing the deportation of Syrian refugees in Denmark. Alysia holds a Master’s degree in Cultural Studies and Communication.

Karishma Patel, Senior Social Media Engagement Officer
Karishma is Senior Social Media Engagement Officer at The Britain Palestine Media Centre. She has significant experience as a Newsreader and Journalist at BBC News, where she worked across news in the UK, South Asia, and the Middle East. She holds a Master’s degree in English Literature, with a focus on postcolonial theory, from the University of Cambridge, and has contributed a chapter on migration literatures to 'Cultures of London: Legacies of Migration' (Bloomsbury, 2024).

Alex Bustos, Senior Media Information Officer
Alex is the Senior Media Information Officer at the Britain Palestine Media Centre. He holds a Masters degree in Near and Middle Eastern Studies at SOAS University of London and has an interest in history and politics.

Rania Kawwas-Isaac, Finance Manager
Rania is the Finance Manager at The Britain Palestine Media Centre. With over 20 years of experience working with various organizations, NGOs and refugee camps in Palestine, she specialises in financial management, budgeting, and strategic planning. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bethlehem University and has a proven track record of enhancing financial efficiency in nonprofit settings. Rania is committed to optimising financial operations and supporting the Centre’s mission to amplify Palestinian voices.

Haneen Kinani, Media Information Officer
Haneen is The Britain Palestine Media Centre’s Media Information Officer. She is a researcher, writer and an advocate for social justice and human rights. Previously, Haneen has worked on shifting the policy and discourse on Palestine through advocacy engagements across Europe and digital mobilisation. She is a University of Oxford alumna, with a Masters in Refugee and Forced Migration Studies.

Nick McAlpin, Media Engagement Officer
Nick McAlpin is The Britain Palestine Media Centre's Media Engagement Officer. He previously spent three-and-a-half years as a journalist at The New Arab, reporting on Palestine, its diplomatic relations, and international solidarity work. As an undergraduate student, he lived in Jordan for a year, where he volunteered at an after-school club for Syrian and Iraqi refugee children. Nick holds an MPhil in Social Anthropology from the University of Cambridge.

Hala Yacoub Qassis, Palestine Country Officer
Hala Yacoub Qassis is the Palestine Country Officer for BPMC, focusing on amplifying Palestinian voices through her work in journalism and advocacy. As a co-founder of Hara 36, she contributes to highlighting Palestinian narratives and human stories. Hala has also contributed to platforms like The New Arab and Stop the Wall, focusing on marginalised communities, human rights, and international law. She has worked on subject matter such as Masafer Yatta and military courts, and has provided freelance fixing for international journalists, ensuring that critical stories from Palestine reach global audiences.
